説明

I investigate the Input-Output data of Kagoshima City and search for fundamental industries. The I/O data is from Value Management Institute, Inc. By using the data, I use the Index of the Power of Dispersion and the Index of Ghosh Inverse Matrix. I find that food, construction, whole saling, retailing, transportation, hotel and restaurant business, information, science, health care service, and other service are thought to be fundamental industries. This research was not done by former researches such as, for example, that of Kikuchi (2018). This kind of research using I/O data can shed light on the industries of Kagoshima City.
