Description

The purpose of this paper is considering Tsumura Takashi's practice of mini-communication media (Mini-Comi) in 1980s. The mini-communication media as counter media to mass communication were published widely and connected with social movement in after World War II. And the media were being diversification concerning themes and interests in 1980s. I particularly take notice of Gekkan-Shochu-Tsushin. This mini-communication media attempted to relativize the flame of nation and consuming society through Shochu (Japanese distilled liquor). The media has consistent awareness of the issues, on the other hand, if we focus on the practice of media, we can understand that the media aim to make new networks between the people. In this way, this paper is to clarify way of the media that mini-communication media in 1980s, through Gekkan-Shochu-Tsushin. Currently, circumstances surrounding the media is changing rapidly. But I consider that the practice of Gekkan-Shochu-Tsushin is important also in the curren.
