This research examines the state of promotion of digital transformation (DX), for which social demand has risen as a result of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "2040 problem," based on national trends and cases of Yamanashi Prefecture and 27 municipalities in Yamanashi Prefecture. In addition, it will analyze the results of a web survey of the DX promotion plan targeting 27 municipalities in Yamanashi Prefecture and share the current situation and characteristics. Finally, referring to the results of case analysis and questionnaire analysis of local governments, it will make policy proposals on the challenges to overcome in the DX promotion plan that 27 municipalities in Yamanashi Prefecture.
