Nonverbal communication such as visual information and physical interaction play an important role in our communication. In this study, we focused on communication through haptics, and investigated whether conveying emotions through the haptic device provides a new experience, if so, what kind of experience it is, and how the haptic device convey the emotion. In the experiment, participants used the haptic device that can convey air pressure by connecting two soft tennis balls with a tube. One participant shared emotions felt from the video, while the other participant received the emotions. We conducted questionnaire about the emotions felt from the video or received from the haptic device, and the new experiences they got. We report on the data and the participants' experiences. We think that this research can contribute to richer online communication.
