Description
In this paper,to clarify the use of Kinetic Family Drawings (KFD) and Family Image Test (FIT) in the psychotherapy, family's characteristics that both techniques were made to notice were examined by focusing on the difference of the stimulation structure. As a result, there is no difference in the matter noticed about "family members' characteristics","relations of family members",and "episodes concerning a family" as for KFD and FIT. Therefore,it has been understood to be able to notice these matters even by each technique in the psychotherapy. It is easy for FIT with half structural stimulus to notice specific family feature. It is easy for KFD with non-structural stimulus to notice about various matters of the family from the past to the future. Moreover, the difference of feature of the family interpreted by KFD and FIT was clarified, and the possibility as the test battery was examined. As a result,it is easy for KFD with non-structural stimulus to understand concrete family feature in various situations. On the other hand,it was clarified that family's basic characteristic was understood by FIT with half structural stimulus. Therefore, the method for the commentary use of both techniques was suggested. For instance, FIT can be effectively used to understand family's basic characteristic, and KFD is more effective to understand a detailed feature and the originality of the family.
