顔画像と名字を用いた個人認証システムの提案

近年，スマートフォンやコンピュータは通信販売等にも用いられるようになり，個人認証の必要性が高まっている．スマートフォン等で用いられる個人認証には，指紋や顔などの生体を用いた生体認証やパスワードなどを用いた知識認証がある．知識認証は容易に導入できるが，登録情報が盗まれると不正にアクセスされるという問題がある．不正アクセスを防止するために，第三者に推測されにくい情報を登録すると，ユーザが登録情報を忘れるリスクが高くなる．そこで本論文では，画像が文字と比較して長期記憶しやすいという特徴を利用し，顔画像と名字を組み合わせた情報を用いた認証手法を提案する．この手法では顔画像と名字の組み合わせ情報を予め登録し，認証の際にそれらの情報を用いて認証する．認証には顔画像と名字の両方の情報が必要となるため，画像のみを用いる認証と比較して登録情報を盗むことが難しい．提案手法をもとに個人認証システムを実装し，暗証番号認証等の既存の個人認証手法と比較することで提案手法の攻撃への耐性の高さを明らかにする．

In recent years, smartphones and computers have come to be used for mail-order sales and other purposes, and the need for personal authentication has increased. Personal authentication methods used on smartphones and other devices include biometric authentication like fingerprints or face, and knowledge authentication like passwords. Knowledge authentication is easy to implement, but there is a problem that unauthorized access can be obtained if registered information is stolen. If information that is difficult for a third party to guess is registered to prevent unauthorized access, the risk of the user forgetting the registered information increases. In this paper, we propose an authentication method that uses a combination of face images and last names, taking advantage of the fact that images are easier to remember for long periods of time compared to characters. In this method, the combination of face images and last names is registered in advance, and authentication is performed using this information. Since both face images and last names are required for authentication, it is more difficult to steal registered information than authentication using only images. We implement a personal authentication system based on the proposed method, and compare it with existing personal authentication methods such as PIN authentication to clarify the high resistance of the proposed method to attacks.
