ライフキャリア教育科目「自己開拓」の教育効果-短期集中型「自己開拓」の教育効果との比較検証-

本研究では、2023年度におけるライフキャリア教育科目「自己開拓」の教育効果について検証することを第1の目的とした。さらに、2コマ×8回で実施されてきた短期集中型「自己開拓」の教育効果との比較検証を行うことにより、ライフキャリア教育科目「自己開拓」における教育効果の独自性を明らかにすることを第2の目的とした。分析の結果、ライフキャリア教育科目「自己開拓」は2021年度の開設から3年間一貫して、授業全体を通して性格特性における開放性の向上、自尊感情の向上、進路選択に対する自己効力の向上、時間的展望における目標指向性の獲得、キャリア・アダプタビリティの向上、コミュニケーション・スキルの他者受容や関係調整の獲得といった教育効果が明らかとなり、本授業の頑健な教育効果が示された。また、短期集中型「自己開拓」と比較すると、性格特性の勤勉性の向上や情緒不安性の低下、キャリア・アダプタビリティの好奇心の向上という側面でより高い教育効果が確認された。ライフキャリア教育科目「自己開拓」は、短期集中型「自己開拓」と比べ、自己のキャリアのみならず社会に広がるライフキャリアを幅広く取り上げていることが教育効果に影響したと考えられる。

The primary objective of this study was to assess the educational effectiveness of the Life Career Education program, "Self Motivation Development," during the 2023 academic year. A secondary objective was to elucidate the unique educational benefits of this program by comparing it with a short-term intensive "Self Motivation Development" course, delivered over eight sessions, each consisting of two periods. The analysis demonstrated that the Life Career Education program consistently yielded positive psychological and educational outcomes across three years, beginning with its establishment in 2021. These outcomes included increased openness to experience, heightened self-esteem, improved self-efficacy in career-related decision-making, enhanced goal-setting within a temporal framework, greater career adaptability, and the development of crucial interpersonal communication skills, such as acceptance of others and relationship regulation. Furthermore, when compared to the short-term intensive program,the Life Career Education initiative demonstrated a more robust impact on fostering conscientiousness, reducing neuroticism, and enhancing curiosity, particularly within the framework of career adaptability. The broader thematic scope of the Life Career Education program, which integrates both personal career growth and societal role development, contributed to its comparatively greater impact on overall psychological development and long-term career readiness.
