Multiple-Q instability under tetragonal single-ion anisotropy is theoretically investigated. By performing the simulated annealing for a spin model with the momentum-resolved interaction and fourth-order inplane single -ion anisotropy on a square lattice, we find that the interplay between the competing exchange interactions in momentum space and single-ion anisotropy leads to various field-induced double-Q states in the ground state. In particular, we show that a double-Q vortex crystal emerges when the interactions at high-harmonic wave vectors are comparable to those at wave vectors that give the dominant contributions. Our results underscore the importance of magnetic anisotropy, which brings about the multiple-Q instability in centrosymmetric magnets.
