The purpose of this study was to investigate whether there is necessary or not to determine protein concentration, when we measured sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca^2- -stimulated adenosine triphosphatase (SR Ca^2- -ATPase) activity of muscle homogenates. We compared SR Ca^2- -ATPase activity calculated using tissue wet weight with it calculated using protein concentration in the muscle of extensor digitorum longus (EDL) and tibialis anterior (TA) of rats....
