Description

This paper reports on the contents of ancient writings on Noh plays. First of all, This is a fragment of transcription of Noh song “Kasuga Ryujin (春日龍神)”, It is said that this was transcribed by Ton’a(a poet from the Northern and Southern Courts period), and is extremely significant as it was written very close to the time when Noh song “Kasuga Ryujin” were created. Next, I will report on a fragment of a transcription of the Noh play “Uneme (采女)”. It is noted that this work was transcribed further from a copy that Konparu Yoshikatsu (金春喜勝) had written for Ōuchi Yoshitaka (大内義隆). It was transcribed on November 13, 1543. It is a valuable piece that gives us a glimpse into the activities of Ōuchi Yoshitaka (大内義隆) and Konparu Yoshikatsu (金春喜勝).
