A fragmentary anonymous Middle English text designated Alexander B and preserved only in Ms. Bodley 264. It is closely based on, but not a strict translation of, Leo the Archipresbyter's Historia de preliis (the text of which is included for comparison, the non-pertinent latter part being merely summarized)
