"This is a preliminary version of the digitally transcribed fieldnotes on the Miyako language, which had been compiled and left in the form of tentatively edited handwritten lexical database by Nikolay A. Nevskiy in 1920s. The basis for this edition has been the year 2005 copy Miyako hōgen nōto (宮古方言ノート "Notes on the Miyako dialects"), the facsimile of the original notebooks, which are archived at the Institute of Eastern Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Sankt-Petersburg"--p. 44
