<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>Tetrakis(2-trimethylaminoethoxy)phthalocyaninatozinc(II) iodide catalyzed photoreduction of methyl viologen with visible light in the presence of triethanolamine in an aqueous solution. The effects of an ionic strength, pH, and polarity of solvents on the photoreaction were also investigated.</jats:p>
