<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>A novel complex assembly [Ag2(tdpd)]n (H2tdpd = 1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-5,6-dioxo-2,3-pyrazinedicarbonitrile) was synthesized and characteraized. [Ag2(tdpd)]n consists of dinuclear modules with Ag–Ag interactions. The dimmer modules are connected each other by additional but effective Ag–hetero atom interactions forming a three-dimensional structure.</jats:p>
