<p>2D CoB nanosheets and FeB nanoplates were employed as catalysts for WO3 photoanodes. The functionalized photoanodes present meaningfully improved PEC water oxidation performances, exceeding Co-Bi- and Co(OH)x-modified WO3 photoanodes.</p>
