<p>Here we report the first quantitative investigation of nanoscale film morphologies of a cage-shaped poly(<italic>ε</italic>-caprolactone) and its counterparts in star, cyclic, and linear topologies through synchrotron grazing incidence X-ray scattering analysis.</p>
