Development of similarity evaluation method between virtual and actual clothing

<jats:sec> <jats:title content-type="abstract-subheading">Purpose</jats:title> <jats:p>The purpose of this paper is to develop a similarity evaluation method between virtual and actual clothing.</jats:p> </jats:sec> <jats:sec> <jats:title content-type="abstract-subheading">Design/methodology/approach</jats:title> <jats:p>The paper analyzes the subjective and objective evaluation results of virtual and actual clothing.</jats:p> </jats:sec> <jats:sec> <jats:title content-type="abstract-subheading">Findings</jats:title> <jats:p>In this paper, significant factors affecting the evaluation of similarity between actual and virtual clothing have been found.</jats:p> </jats:sec> <jats:sec> <jats:title content-type="abstract-subheading">Research limitations/implications</jats:title> <jats:p>Evaluation experiment was performed only for a skirt.
