入院病院食に希少糖含有糖尿病治療食を開発し、通常の糖尿病食と比較し持続血糖測定器を用いて詳細に解析した世界で初めての報告である。希少糖含有治療食では有意に2型糖尿病患者の食後血糖値を改善できた。
