説明

How the activities of Rho and Rac are coordinated through their GEF and GAP remains unclear. The prometastatic RhoGAP, BPGAP1, recruits the RacGEF Vav1 to activate Rac1 while it down-regulates the local RhoA activity that in turns influences Rac1 activation by Vav1. BPGAP1 acts as a scaffold to synchronize Rho and Rac signaling in cell motility.
