<jats:title>ABSTRACT</jats:title> <jats:p> We isolated <jats:named-content content-type="genus-species">Bifidobacterium kashiwanohense</jats:named-content> JCM 15439 from the feces of a healthy Japanese infant and proposed it as the type strain of a novel species within the genus <jats:italic>Bifidobacterium</jats:italic> . Here, we report the complete genome sequence of this organism. </jats:p>
