Bioactive Xenicane Diterpenoids from the Taiwanese Soft Coral <i>Asterospicularia laurae</i>

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Chemical investigation of the Taiwanese soft coral <jats:italic>Asterospicularia laurae</jats:italic> has led to the isolation of three new xenicane diterpenoids, named asterolaurins K–M (<jats:bold>1</jats:bold>–<jats:bold>3</jats:bold>, resp.). Their chemical structures were determined through extensive spectroscopic analyses (<jats:sup>1</jats:sup>H‐ and <jats:sup>13</jats:sup>C‐NMR, <jats:sup>1</jats:sup>H,<jats:sup>1</jats:sup>H‐COSY, HMBC, and NOESY). Compound <jats:bold>2</jats:bold> exhibited cytotoxic activity against HEp‐2, Daoy, MCF‐7, and WiDr tumor cells.</jats:p>
