Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>Substitution of CO in closo-[Cp*2Fe3S2(CO)3] (1) by PPh3 was accelerated upon photolysis or by treatment with reductant or oxidant to give mono(PPh3)-substituted clusters. In the redoxinduced reaction, [1]− and [1]+ were proposed as labile intermediates to substitution of CO.</jats:p>
