<p>Diverse <italic>ortho</italic>-stannylbiaryls and teraryls have been synthesized by copper-catalyzed arylstannylation of arynes, in which the single or dual insertion of arynes into arylstannanes is precisely controllable by simply changing the equivalence of the aryne precursors employed.</p>
