<jats:p>An ultrasonic spectroscopy technique for the simultaneous, wideband measurement of attenuation and dispersion in solids is described. The technique is based on Fourier analysis of digitized ultrasonic waveforms. Results are compared with discrete frequency measurements of these properties with good agreement observed.</jats:p>
