<jats:p>Silica nanoparticle cross-linked acrylamide polymer hydrogels showed promising adsorption behavior for organic dye removal in a neutral to basic pH range with a rapid adsorption rate, high adsorption capacity and excellent regeneration efficacy.</jats:p>
