<p>Photoelectrochemical studies on a new Ti(<sc>iv</sc>)-based porous metal–organic framework (<bold>NTU-9</bold>, bandgap 1.72 eV) indicated that <bold>NTU-9</bold> is a p-type semiconductor with visible-light-driven photoactivity.</p>
