<jats:p>Rietveld refinement of different structural models using neutron diffraction data for a series of powders of lead zirconate titanate, PbZr<jats:sub>1 − <jats:italic>x</jats:italic> </jats:sub>Ti<jats:italic> <jats:sub>x</jats:sub> </jats:italic>O<jats:sub>3</jats:sub> (PZT), is described. It is found that at all the compositions and temperatures studied the best results include contributions from more than one phase in order to fit the data. Consequently a new phase diagram is proposed.</jats:p>
