説明
The melting curves of nine fluids which have been or could be used for pressure transmission have been measured to 10 000 bars. New forms are reported for isobutane and propylene. The substances showing the lowest melting temperatures at 10 000 bars are propane at —105° and propylene at —130.5°C. Most of the substances studied exhibit strong tendencies toward subcooling.
