Description

Meddis and O’Mard have recently presented a revised autocorrelogram model of pitch perception, which they claim can account for the different pattern of experimental results obtained for complex tones consisting of resolved and unresolved harmonics. This Letter demonstrates that, in contrast to the experimental data, important features of the model’s output and predictions vary with frequency region rather than with resolvability.
