<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>There is increasing interest in prothrombin complex concentrates as therapy for perioperative and trauma-related bleeding. A suitable point-of-care test is needed to guide such therapy, and randomized controlled trials are needed for robust, evidence-based recommendations.</jats:p>
