Description

The concept of "Material Cycles Science" is proposed as a system of research which contributes to the establishment of material cycle-oriented society and control of chemical substances. It consists of three pillars: Green Industry (clean technologies and risk assessment); a cycle-oriented system (material cycles network and life cycle management); and environmental preservation technologies (emission control and environmental preservation). We should recognize that "Material Cycles Science" is not a basic science but a purposeful and applied science. Therefore, the approach would be interdisciplinary.
