<p>Nanoparticles have been widely deployed for brain-targeted delivery. Drugs can be embedded either in a matrix or deposited on the surface of nanoparticles, and the whole particle can cross the BBB effectively and be targeted to specific parts of the body in a controllable manner.</p>
