<jats:p>Diabetic glomerulosclerosis has been produced in alloxan diabetic monkeys maintained from one to four years with minimal insulin dosage and high carbohydrate diet. Cataracts and dwarfism also appeared. Present limited data suggest that increased dietary fat and insulin may ameliorate these developments.</jats:p>
