説明

A very rapid method determining lead in gasoline without preliminary treatment is provided by the flame photometer.<BR>However, it usually depends upon the availability of an unleaded sample of the gasoline bare stock. A method is described whereby it should become possible, with the single beam apparatus attached a stopper, to use lithium naphthenate as an internal standard in comparing different stocks, without recourse to unlead blanks or more than one standard.<BR>It takes 5 minutes to determine lead in gasoline, and accuracy is 0.02ml. per gallon.
