抄録

Elastic d-α scattering is investigated in the framework of the orthogonality condition model (OCM) in which the effect of the Pauli principle is included by projecting out the forbidden states resulted from the antisymmetrization. In order to take into account the distortion effect of the deuteron, which is considered to be important for the description of the propagation of the deuteron through the field of the target nucleus, we apply the catiational method. Numerical resutls for phase shifts and wave functions are shown. The agreement with experimental phase shifts is excellent. The feature of the distortion of the deuteron and the role of the Pauli principle are clarified. The effect of the breakup of the deuteron is discussed and the simple treatment for including the breakup effect is proposed, which is shown to eliminate the spurious resonances.
