H yperbranchedc onjugated polymersh ave been attracted much attention because of their synthetics implicity, good solubility, amorphous film-forming ability and useful properties such as electrical conductivity and electroluminescence. They can be prepared by a one-step process, where an AB2-type monomer undergoes self-condensationp olymerizationT. he advantage of this one-pot AB2-approachli es in its potential for greater general applicabilityH. yperbranchedc onjugatedp olymersh ave much greater solubilityin common organic solvents and superior processing properties than their linear counterpartsw ithout solubilizingf unctionalg roups. They have shown promising applicationsi n areas such as organic conductors, s emiconductors, l ight-emittindgi odes and p hotovoltaics.
