Abstract
The antibacterial activity of cephalosporin (CS) and semisynthetic penicillins was studied using CS-resistant strains of </i>Escherichia freundii</i> and Proteus morganii. A synergistic growth inhibitory action toward these microorganisms was demonstrated by a qualitative method and confirmed by a quantitative determination.
