Two new glucosides, which have been elucidated to be 1-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-scylloinositol (Ia) and 1-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-proto-quercitol (IIa), were isolated from an aqueous extract of the leaves and branches of Quercus stenophylla MAKINO (Japanese name “Urajirogashi” )<BR>Besides these we detected other disaccharides by gas-liquid chromatography (Fig.)
