<p>This paper describes the situation of IIIF from its early stage to current situation in Japan and in the world. It has spread not only leading research libraries but also various types of institutions treating digital cultural resources. This paper discuss possibilities of institutions which implement IIIF under open license. After that, it mentions TEI and its relationship with IIIF. It suggests to contribute international standards from Japan in the last chapter.</p>
