抄録

The characteristic function of the distribution function of the square radius of gyration S2 of an unperturbed ring chain represented by the Feynman path integral is exactly evaluated. The Fourier transform of the characteristic function is performed analytically and numerically in one-, two-, and three-dimensional spaces. Rigorous expressions of the distribution function valid for small and large S2 are given by the contour integrations.
