説明

The possibility of detecting surface polaritons (SP’s) on semiconductor superlattices through attenuated total reflection (ATR) technique is investigated. Calculations of ATR spectra for semi-infinite and finite GaAs/Al0.3Ga0.7As superlattices clearly show that one can observe ATR resonances due to the excitation of SP’s in Otto and Kretschmann configurations.
