For the Voigt configuration k⊥H, where k is the wave vector of incident microwaves and H the applied magnetic field, it is found that a dc voltage is induced to the k×H direction oscillating with the same period as in the geometrical resonance of the magnetosonic wave propagating in bismuth. In addition, a sharp, pulse-like dc voltage is observed associated with the Azbel’-Kaner resonance in lower magnetic fields. Both effects might be useful as a powerful tool for the Fermi surface determination.
