Description

The term "folksonomy" is a compoud of the words folk (or folks) and taxonomy. Acording to the Wikipedia, a folksonomy is an Internet-based information retrieval methodology consisting of collaboratively generated, open-ended labels that categorize content such as Web pages, online photographs, and Web links. In this paper, some articles on folksonomy were critically reviewed and the novelty of folksonomy was revealed.
