Abstract
OCLC's metadata utility CORC, began as a research project in January 1999 and became a full production service in July 2000. Aichi-Shukutoku University Library was the only participat ing library from Japan to join the Project. The purpose of this paper is to introduce Aichi Shukutoku University Library's experience with the CORC Project and to point out some of the problems and issues that libraries in Japan may encounter when using CORC.
