Abstract

Recently, in Japan, there are movements which control locations of the large-scale commercial facilities in wide area. On the other hand, we need to discuss about location control of large-scale commercial facilities and land use conversion of industrial area, as being reported that cases located large-scale commercial facilities in industrial area. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to get a suggestion about a way of location control in future, researching around the regional expressway in suburbs area. As a result, I revealed current situation and problem structure about large-scale commercial facilities which can be located around the regional Ken-o expressway which was extracted from 7 cases of development. More over I found the realizability about a way of location control of large-scale commercial facilities from industry attracting activity, and from the negotiation process in administration organization at Ibaraki, Saitama and Tokyo.
