抄録
Mitigation banking is being implemented in the U.S. as a means of development and environmental conservation. Currently, its enforcement also in Japan is strongly hoped for. As such, this study was launched to survey the state of mitigation banking executed in the U.S. as a mitigation promotion system. Consequently, the following results were attained: i) Importance of mitigation banking in implementing mitigation was revealed. ii) Points of attention in carrying out mitigation banking were clarifier. iii) Problems to be tackled in enforcing mitigation banking in this country were disclosed, based on the attainment of i) and ii).
