Abstract
This study aims at clarifying the locational tendency of Japanese companies in Thailand after Thailand flood 2011 and the relationship with the tendency and the strategy for the reconstruction and the future development by Thai government. Searches in this study showed that most companies did not move depending on the tendency of their main customers, flood preventions by industrial estates, their funds, their ways to produce, and their suspicions of Thai government and so on. Some components of the strategy by Thai government do not match the attitude of Japanese companies. Suspicions of the government by Japanese companies and the little possibility of realizing policies by the government should be improved for the ideal relationship between them in the future.
