The paper discusses a process of community development, andactivities of the community network CODI(Community Organizations Development Institute) has supported through the case study of Arkansongkroh community project which aimed at rebuilding housing and environment by residents' initiatives. These are pointed out: firstly, the saving group and cooperative association have took a central role of activities which has assured empowerment of residents and enabled them to acquire their new houses, secondly, residents could get confidence for community activities through implementation of the project, thirdly, community-based organizations (CBO) have changed dynamically related with the process of the project, foyrthly, as one of succrssful on-site project it has presented a possibility in the community development.
