Abstract
This paper aims to propose a methodology based on small watersheds to analyze transitions of a landscape conservation area and its effect at a detailed scale on the Master Plan for Parks and Open Spaces. First, the basic data of the survey area was prepared. It consists of mapping of small watersheds as well as transitional datasets of the land use and regulation area of the landscape conservation system. Secondly, in order to investigate the tendency of urbanization and the distribution of green spaces, the small watersheds were classified into several groups by way of cluster analysis. Furthermore, an evaluation of the changing trend of the forest area and living environment clarified the effects and problems of the current system.
