説明

A 75-year-old female visited our hospital with a chief complaint of fatigue. On admission, labolatory tests showed 6.4g/dl of Hb and positive stool occult blood test. Endoscopic examination revealed an exposed vessel with active bleeding located on the edge of a diverticulum in the second portion of the duodenum. We made a diagnosis of Dieulafoy lesion. Hemostasis was immediately achieved by endoscopic clipping and there was no recurrent hemorrhage.
